.pk Domain Questions
A valid Pakistani None (Computerised National Identity Card) for individual registrations, or an no documents required for .com.pk business registrations. You also need your full name as on your None, a Pakistani address, email address and phone number.
PKNIC processes .pk domain applications within 24–48 business hours after receiving your documents and payment. You will receive a confirmation email once your domain is live.
Yes. Synix Technologies is an officially accredited PKNIC registrar. Only accredited registrars can register .pk domains. You can verify our accreditation on the PKNIC website.
You must have a valid Pakistani no documents required to register a .pk domain, regardless of where you currently live. Overseas Pakistanis with a valid None can register .pk domains.
.pk is Pakistan's general country-code domain usable by any Pakistani individual or organisation. .com.pk is designated specifically for commercial businesses and requires an None. Both carry equal trust signals for Pakistani audiences.
We send renewal reminders via email and WhatsApp 60, 30 and 7 days before expiry. Pay via JazzCash, EasyPaisa or bank transfer and send us the receipt. We renew the domain within 24 hours.
After the expiry date, your domain enters a grace period (typically 30 days) during which you can still renew it. After the grace period it enters a redemption phase (additional fee applies). Eventually it becomes available for others to register.
.com and International Domain Questions
Yes. Anyone in Pakistan can register a .com domain through Synix. No documents are required and registration is instant. Pay via JazzCash, EasyPaisa or bank transfer.
No. Synix charges the same price for .com registration and renewal (PKR 6,297/yr). We do not use introductory pricing that increases on renewal.
We recommend registering both to protect your brand. .pk builds local Pakistani trust; .com provides international credibility. You can redirect one to the other. Total cost: PKR 8,297/yr.
Yes. You can transfer any domain registered with Synix to another registrar at any time. We will provide your EPP/Auth code upon request. Standard ICANN transfer rules apply (60 days after registration, transfer lock must be off).
Domain Management Questions
Log into the Synix client portal, go to your domain management panel and update the nameservers there. Alternatively, WhatsApp us the new nameservers and we update them for you. DNS changes propagate in 15 minutes to 24 hours.
Yes. WHOIS privacy protection is available for .com, .net, .org and most international domains. It hides your personal details in the public WHOIS database. Not available for .pk domains (PKNIC policy). Contact our team to enable it.
Yes. Domain-only registration is available for all extensions. You can add hosting later when you're ready to build your website. Your domain will be registered and fully functional immediately.
